Dear friend,

I'm writing you as one of the many people I've maintained contact with over the years. Whether you're a current or former Wildfire customer, a prospect or merely a friend, I want to bring you up to speed about what we're doing as a company.

I thought, too, that I ought to practice what I preach and create a newsletter that tells our story at the same time as it demonstrates our technical capabilities.
So here's our Matchstick newsletter, the first of many more to come. Thanks,

Welcome to the first edition of "Matchstick", Wildfire Internet's monthly newsletter. As Wildfire nears its 10th anniversary, we thought it was high time that we used our own products to demonstrate their value. This month, we're using CheckBoxMail, to show you how to share ideas and reward your customers and friends.

Our goal is to provide you with more ways of making the Internet pay in your business.

In coming weeks, we'll be relaunching the Wildfire Internet website and announcing exciting new products and services. So we invite you to watch for Matchstick.

Why an email newsletter?
The Internet caught fire originally, because it brought labor saving technology to some of the most time consuming tasks in business. One of the most crucial of these is customer communications.

We all know that success in business comes from loyal customers and repeat business. The money we spend to bring them in the door, is largely money wasted, if they only come through it once.

So what keeps customers coming back?

Service. Giving them what they want at a fair price. Making the purchasing experience as easy and pleasant as possible. Being better at what you do than your competitors.

But how do you know if you're doing those things?

The only way to be sure is to ask your customers. And that's why the Internet is so powerful. Because, it automates much of the busy work of communicating with your customers. All the detail work of collating documents and data. It's easier than doing a hard copy mailing, for example-with far fewer errors in far less time.

Moreover, email communications are two way and all but instantaneous. Customers can tell you what they think and want, right away.

Using low cost, two-way communications via an email newsletter, you can reward the customers who come back to you. You can issue coupons and give them exclusive, advanced word about sales and special offers. You can ask them about their preferences -- and your service. There's no better way to be "tuned in" to your customers and ahead of your competitors.

With Wildfire's CheckBoxmail http://www.checkboxmail.com, you have everything you need to create and send email newsletters while quickly capturing and managing customer responses. CheckBoxmail lets you:
  1. Create and send Newsletters to any list of email addresses according to any schedule-create them in advance if you want and send them out automatically every month
  2. Create AutoResponders that provide instant answers to customers with accurate data capture and effective customer request management
  3. Organize customers by their preferences or any category you choose
  4. Create newsletters using your own web page. For example, this email was actually created as a web page and delivered by CheckBoxMail in html.
  5. All for as low as $35/month.
Ignite sales and warm up customer relationships with an email newsletter you can actually publish and manage yourself-with no prior experience or training in computers. It's easy, and with CheckBoxmail, you can start right away to making the Internet pay.
